“We don’t feel like we’re dealing with just a name on a piece of paper but it’s a real person who’s taking an interest in us.”
Early on, we had a mortgage with the Pension Board. It was very early on in the piece. Latterly, we’ve been looking at changing our address moving to another house so we were talking with them about possible bridging finance mortgage again and they were very helpful with that.
They couldn’t have been more helpful in willingness to help so we appreciated that.
One thing that I’ve been thinking about that I’ve appreciated is when they’ve made visits to the diocese to talk through financial matters and preparing for retirement and post-retirement. It’s been very good having a person’s face put to the name and I’ve appreciated that very much. We don’t feel like we’re dealing with just a name on a piece of paper but it’s a real person who’s taking an interest in us from Wellington.
We have Retire Funds with Anglican Financial Care and that’s been a really good investment not only from return but because we’ve been able to withdraw money when we’ve needed it and we have needed it recently for improvements around the home and you can get it out in a matter of days so that’s been really wonderful.
We’ve been more than happy with all that Anglican Financial Care has provided for us and no doubt will do so in the future so power to them, every blessing for their work. It’s really appreciated.
