Thank you for applying to join the Christian KiwiSaver Scheme family.

Our team is busy processing your application, so here’s what happens next:

1. Identity verification

All KiwiSaver providers are legally required to verify the identity of their members. If you’ve done this with a bank or another provider before, you’ll know it’s straightforward.

We’ll guide you through the next step, whether you’ve chosen to complete electronic verification or to send in certified copies of your identity documents.

2. Setting up your KiwiSaver

Once your identity is verified, we’ll get your KiwiSaver investment up and running.

3. Contributions

We’ll notify Inland Revenue (IRD) that you’ve joined KiwiSaver. If you are working, they’ll let your employer know, and your employer will begin making KiwiSaver contributions on your behalf. Here’s how it works:
  • Your employer deducts your contribution (based on the rate you choose) from your pay.
  • They also add their employer contribution (less tax).
  • Both amounts are sent to IRD, who then passes them on to us.
Tip: Let your employer know you’ve joined KiwiSaver and confirm your chosen contribution rate (e.g. 3%, 4%, 6%, etc.). If you are not working or want to make voluntary contributions, just send us an email, and we can help you set those up.

4. Accessing your Member Portal

Once the legal bits are sorted, we’ll email you your login details for our Member Portal. This is your go-to place for tracking your investment, viewing contributions, and managing your account.
