Success!
Thank you for applying to join the Christian KiwiSaver Scheme family.
Our team is busy processing your application, so here’s what happens next:
1. Identity verification
All KiwiSaver providers are legally required to verify the identity of their members. If you’ve done this with your previous provider, you’ll know it’s straightforward. We’ll guide you through the next step, whether you’ve chosen to complete electronic verification or to send in certified copies of your identity documents. Keep an eye on your inbox: we’ll send you clear instructions shortly.2. Transferring your account
Once your identity is verified, we’ll begin transferring your KiwiSaver account from your previous provider. During this time, you may notice a nil balance in both your old and new member portals. Don’t worry, this is normal. Transfers can take up to 10 working days, and your savings remain protected throughout the process.3. Contributions
We’ll notify Inland Revenue (IRD) that you’ve joined KiwiSaver. If you are working, they’ll let your employer know, and your employer will begin making KiwiSaver contributions on your behalf.
Tip: Let your employer know you’ve joined KiwiSaver and confirm your chosen contribution rate (e.g. 3.5%, 4%, 6%, etc.).
If you are not working or want to make voluntary contributions, just send us an email, and we can help you set those up.
